A Success Story featuring Vancouver Glass

The Challenge:

Before he started using Comeleon software, Mike Peterson, the owner of Vancouver Glass says he took a lot longer to manually calculate quotes and items for customers. For every phone query, he had to call the customer back and take time to do the math. And that's one sure way to lose a customer off the bat, says Peterson. He was never able to keep the quotes on file until he installed Comeleon.

The Solution:

Peterson has saved money since he started using Comeleon glass software. Now he spends less time and gets better results. He's more organized with Comeleon's adaptable program, and that makes for a more efficient business. "It makes quoting a lot easier. Most glass companies still do it manually," explains Peterson. "It gives us an edge." That extra edge is enough to keep this business ahead of its competition, Peterson says.

The software helps Peterson juggle several customers' queries at a time and enables him to give quotes a lot faster. "You wouldn't be able to do that if you had to do that on a calculator," says Betty Penman, an employee at Glass Vancouver. Penman can now give very accurate quotes down to a 16th of an inch. "It makes it easy for the customer on the other end. That makes sales and gives people confidence in what you're doing."

"It's a complete point of sale. I can pull up an invoice anytime, too. I used to do it manually and we didn't charge for little items that were one dollar or $1.50. We never took time to calculate options, but now I do," Peterson said.

"I'm thrilled with it. It's great," says Peterson. "If it got ripped off tonight, I'd replace it by tomorrow afternoon."
